Luka is a Slovenian rock climber and one of the sport's rising stars. He earned the title of World Vice-Champion at the 2021 IFSC World Championships in Moscow and became the European Vice-Champion at the 2022 Championships in Munich. In recognition of his achievements, Luka was awarded the prestigious Bloudek Plaque in 2021 for "Significant Competitive Achievement in Sport." In 2022, Luka claimed the Lead Climbing World Cup overall title, securing his first-ever World Cup victory at home in Koper and maintaining the lead until the end of the season. He also proudly represented Slovenia at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, showcasing his skill on the global stage.
