Kyra currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. She started climbing at the age of 10 and since then it has become an important part of her life. Her field is mainly sport climbing and bouldering. Although she was diagnosed with very severe scoliosis of the spine and had a serious operation in 2019, she returned to climbing again after a four-month break. Kyra has a monkey index + 10 centimeters.
In 2019, she successfully qualified for the Tokyo Olympics, placing 11th in the women's sport climbing category. Kyra is also proud of the titles: 3x Junior USA Champion in Bouldering and 2x Junior USA Champion in sport climbing. Her most difficult climbs clearly include the boulder Black Shadow 8A+, Amphitheater 8A+, Rocklands, JAR and among the rope climbs DefCon1 8b+, Maple Canyon, Utah. In 2017, Kyra did a deep water solo in Vietnam, about which she says: "Every route I climbed in Vietnam was a huge mental battle for me, so I appreciate all of them."
Among her most popular products from Ocún are the Havoc climbing shoes, which fit perfectly on her foot and suit all her needs for all types of climbing - from bouldering to sport climbing and very small toe hooks- they do it all. In the future, she plans to continue her professional climbing career, after which she wants to devote more time to outdoor climbing and school.
